Today I smile... smile in knowing there is new life in our family... a soul I can smother with my laughter... and love.
A wee body I can snuggle... and rock... kiss... and rub his hands, her hands.
I will love him wholly as I do my own brothers and his child, as if it was mine - regardless of my own needs... wants or aches - regardless of his situation and what we think.
That is who is I am. Filled beyond my brim... with light... and love... and laughter...
This will be fun....
