Today is John Lennon's birthday... and it's somewhat ironic that the day falls on our Thanksgiving weekend... for all the things in this world to be thankful for, his dream of world peace cannot be one of them...
Let's be thankful today for Canada... and the comfort it allows us... to sleep at night... and wake free in the morning... for living truly peaceful and truly loved. We are lucky...
And in Lennon's memory today... let us take a moment to remember those who don't have what we do... from America, to Africa... to Asia... Guatamala and Mexico... War, starvation, natural disaster and hate.
Yes he was a dreamer, and sadly he was the only one.
