I never really bothered to understand that... but I do now. Wanting is suffering in essence... and it might be his one truth.
We're probably all naive to believe that human life is to live and love and be happy... life is work... to ensure survival... it's primative... it's simple... it's painful....
At the most basic level that is living.
At least that is my life.
